BLUE

You painted me blue

You called me a star

You took me places

farther than far.

Should I rejoice while floating in this space of nothingness?

Should I mourn your breathlessness?

INTENTIONS

So numb I’ve become;

I read your words to feel my feelings,

I seek your love to give’em meaning.

You ask me to pour myself a glass of inspiration

but

do you know that it comes from you?

Your good intentions usurp all my contentions

and though I lose this case,

I still have your smile

on my face.

A WRONG CHOICE

I shut my mind

to yarns and whims

and screamed,

“THE END!”,

aloud;

but

DREAMS OF YOU

are

FACE OF TRUTH,

YOUR WORDS:

A MISTY SHROUD.

How could it be?

Tell me, I’ll be

listening

to

all your lies;

Ignore not

STROKE OF DESTINY

by making

one

WRONG CHOICE.

REUNION

[Note: I do not own any copyrights to the video.]

Come to me

Yes

Come to me

With the moments of eternity;

Read the musical sheets of my thoughts,

and try to play them with brevity.

Do you think this as impossible?

How could you think it to be?

Ever thought how difficult

separation sounds,

when reality is

yet another fantasy?

Coming together

may be an illusion,

as you are here all along

then,

what is it that my body craves for?

Does my weakness make you strong?

Keep an eye on your impatience,

It has an answer to the questions I raise;

Can you slow down your speed a little?

Can you feel my presence in your gaze?

Your mind is my autobiography

and,

it is only you who can read

Will you do the cafuné when I want?

Will you ever want what I need?

HEALING BLACK HOLES

Photo: Black Holes

Let me, be me

Alone and free;

Ignore my absence

Avoid my fantasy.

Attachments are limits

Mere comfort zones;

Know how cloistered

You could be.

Let me be space

Expand your sight;

Watch me travelling

faster than light.

Why would you shrivel?

You’re part of me:

be it sunshine

or the darkest night.

Determined we are in

climbing this hill;

Together apart, and

Yet we’re still.

Theories don’t work

unless applied;

Let’s HEAL those black holes

with our WILL.

FIRST ENCOUNTER [SHORT STORY]

Photo: Rajabai Tower, Mumbai, India

She wanted to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed university, but this time, she was aware that her fascination with old structures drew her attention to this place.

After attending some boring lectures on the first day itself, she stepped into the Heritage Library. He was sitting by the huge wooden table, with a pencil and a diary. As she passed by his table, his writing was eclipsed by her shadow. Sudden distraction made him glare at her, accusingly. She was already looking at him. Their eyes met. It was a moment that even Einstein might have had never calculated in his great Theory of Relativity.

It was their first encounter with each other.

They were poles apart, when their souls collided.

DARK SURREALISM

Photo: Shadows

Do you need any assistance?

From distance

you can only see my shadow,

frigid

on a meadow of arid

monochrome grass.

Oh ! But you have to cross

this Rubicon of Dark Surrealism:

Lift this veil of nihilism

from your face

to trace the beauty of

ALL THAT I AM.

Darkness too, has a bright side.

SEE IT.
